How often will I need to come?
This depends on the individual. Some clients need only a few sessions to resolve an issue, while others may require more in-depth work over a longer period of time. We will work together to determine your needs.
How long does each session take?
An initial session is 60 minutes. After the initial, subsequent visits are typically 45 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 45-minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance.
Fees/Insurance
Fees: We will always discuss the fee before a decision on a counseling plan is made.
Private Pay: Some clients may choose to seek treatment and pay privately for services. Private pay allows for treatment without adding a diagnosis or having the need to send detailed notes to an insurance provider.
Insurance: If you choose to utilize your insurance, I am currently accepting clients with out of network coverage. Some clinets prefer to pay for their services out of pocket, and then submit a claim to their insurance plan. Please reach out to your insurance provider to determine if you have out of network coverage. I will provide you with a superbill with necessary information that you can then submit to your insurance provider for re-imbursement.
Is there a cancellation fee?
You can cancel your appointment up to 24 hours prior to your designated appointment time. In the event of a missed or cancelled session without 24-hour advanced notice you will charged a $100 cancellation fee.
