Counseling and Psychotherapy
Have a particular life obstacle you’re trying to overcome? There are times in our lives that we may feel stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. Sometimes, seeking support from a professional can help you sort through and gain a new perspective about your situation.  As a committed, caring, empathic Therapist in Eastchester, NY your well-being and mental strength is my number one priority. I strive to create a safe space where you are free to talk about your fears, worries, struggles, relationships, past pain, and to truly be heard.

"You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending."

About Jennifer Wade, LCSW
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Eastchester, NY in Westchester County with over 15 years of experience. I have worked with young adults, adults, and the elderly.
Since 2004, I have provided social work services in a variety of settings. I have worked with children and families in foster care and in an outpatient residential treatment center. I also have experience working in the medical arena; hospital, skilled nursing facility, hospice and palliative care and in an outpatient dialysis center. Through the years, I've helped and advocated for clients in working through difficult decisions about their health, adjusting to new living situations, coping with chronic illness, making informed choices about their treatment, and teaching clients how to advocate for themselves.
I take my role very seriously and I feel it is an honor to be a support to someone in need. I work from a supportive, relational, empathic perspective. My approach includes, but is not limited to, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focsued therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I work from a neurologically informed/attachment based focus.

"We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
